Skill-sets for enterprise-architects

A really good article on the skill-sets needed by enterprise-architects: Sally Bean, The elusive enterprise architect.

I’d say it’s the closest I’ve ever seen to a straight business-type description of what I do in my professional work as Tetradian Consulting (except that I also cross over into narrative-knowledge, process-space, foresight/futures and quite a few other additional areas too, because I try to cover the structure of the whole of the enterprise, not merely the IT subset). The sections on temperament and mindset would be true for any other true business-generalist, too.

Interesting.
